INTRODUCTION
Hi! My name is Seung Ah (Annabelle) Choi. I'm currently a senior at Monta Vista High School! Welcome to my website that highlights all my complied independent (and some collaborative) science projects :)
This HOME page contains an overview of my projects as well as my highlighted research (publications & award-winning works) and evaluation forms from college professors who were awesome mentors throughout my projects.

OVERVIEW
ENGINEERING PROJECTS
Ever since my first independent project designing a toothbrush for people with braces in 7th grade, I've been interested in engineering for the greater good in the field of diverse sciences from biology to chemistry to environmental science to physics.
DATA SCIENCE
The rapidly developing technological world has so much potential to uncover hidden patterns that are not easily distinguishable by the human eye. I'm passionate about building algorithms to extract insights from structured and provide ways to better respond to larger problems like pandemics, natural disasters, etc.
PRODUCT DESIGN
I express my creative side through digital platforms on the multi-dimensional level. Aside from the conventional 2D drawings I create in my free time, I love to prototype products using CAD to address needs namely in public health.
APP DEVELOPMENT
With more than 7.7 billion smartphone users in the world, I'm convinced that apps are the most efficient way to make an impact on a large audience. I've self-studied various coding languages and how to use app building platforms to involve myself with the front-end and back-end of developing apps for a wide range of stakeholders.
PHYSICS
Some of my physics projects test hypotheses regarding the natural theories and characteristics of physics. Other projects discuss physics in various fields, like biology and environmental science, which gave me the opportunity to become interested in a wide variety of sciences.
WELLNESS RESEARCH
Stress and anxiety, emotional fluctuations are a significant problem in today's fast-moving and technologically-advancing society. I strongly believe in the importance of using science and technology for the wellbeing of people and to improve their quality of life.
